Wood Block - Music Box

Wood Block - Music Box is a puzzle game with a similar premise to Tetris, but with a twist! This time, the key to success will be a well-though-out strategy and carefully completed moves.

In Wood Block - Music Box, your mission is to get as many points as you can before you’re unable to make any more moves. During each game, wooden blocks -shaped like the classic tetrominoes- appear at the bottom of the screen. The rest of the screen is filled by a grid, which you’ll have to fill with blocks. In this game, your goal is to completely fill a line -either vertically or horizontally- to eliminate it from the grid. But to do so, you’ll have to carefully place each piece!

Unlike similar titles, you can see up to four pieces at a time in Wood Block - Music Box, allowing you to choose which one best fits in the board at the moment, instead of struggling to fit random pieces. And, if you manage to eliminate several lines at ones, you’ll win more points than if you had eliminated each one individually. Unlike Tetris, the pieces don’t fall on the board by themselves, rather you can strategically place each piece and eliminate three or four lines at once!

Overall Wood Block - Music box is a decent Tetris remake that offers a much calmer and more satisfying game experience. And the wooden blocks just add to the relaxing -and beautiful- atmosphere.
